Smithsonite

     Of shine and darkness, this gem has made use of its fluorescent to learn about the world.

     Smithsonite, (or as the other gems call them, Smith,) spends their days studying gems and minerals, and the non-living biology they present. Smith has an innate passion for exploring the world around them and learning about themself as they do.

     They usually study some of the darkest areas on the island, including the complex system of caves that lay beneath the surface. How some gems, non-living, come to be under the earth's crust. They are obsessed with history, and how the lunarians tie into the mystery it presents...
