EARLY CHILDHOOD

deadpool was born with a family of housecats and got placed in a new home just after birth. at the age of just two moons, he was diagnosed with cancer and was taken by twolegs to treat his illness. they were able to successfully treat him (though horifically), but it left him with a dark sense of humor, permanently furless, many scars, and looking over his shoulder for the rest of his life. he escaped after he realized he was fully treated from his cancer and he ran away.

FIRST HOME

while out on his own, he met a group of rogues that were killers for a living. realizing that he had nowhere else to go, he reluctantly accepted their invitation. they taught him how to hunt, talk, kill, and be a part of their group. he was given the name ‘dead’, and for his chatter and use of language, given the nickname of ‘the one with a mouth’. and if you're wondering why he didn't leave, he had nowhere else to go: he didn’t know where his old home or old family was, and it would've take days, perhaps weeks, to find them. he let go of his past, and from then, he was a killer.

besides being taught the ropes of being part of the group, however, they never really treated him as a friend, no more than a useful item they needed to be part of their group of mercenaries: he usually had to catch his own food and was often left out of games that they played, so he typically secluded himself in his own corner. he usually had to catch his own food and was often left out of games that they played, so he typically secluded himself in his own corner. he'd learned to talk in a southern drawl, after getting used to the way that the group talked, partly he could make himself fit in more. while on his missions however, he realized that basically no one speaks in the accent that his group uses, so he's practiced to avoid this accent while on missions. he rarely ever uses the southern drawl for anything else.

FIRST FRIEND

some months passed by after joining the group and he met spiderpool in what was called a thunderclan. they interrogated each other for information from either side, and dead found out that spiderpool’s uncle umberbend was killed by one of dead’s roguemates, goblin. after some more chatter, he learned about thunderclan and how the clans worked, and was even offered a place in thunderclan…

NEW HOME

dead still showed up to his rogue group’s meetings, but he payed less attention and even skipped a couple missions. he stopped showing up one day, but as far as he knows no one tried to look for him. he joined thunderclan where he was renamed as deadpaw, wanting to keep his name, being taught the ropes by spidermane.

• deadpool is based off of... deadpool from marvel, but many things about this character have been retconned to my own ideas and the warriors universe.
• deadpool gained a southern accent from being part of his rogue group, but he never uses it anymore. it only ever slips through his voice when he’s experiencing intense emotions, such as extreme panic or frustration.
• the items included in his pouches are a small bundle of flowers, a broken collar with a nametag reading ‘wade’, plant seeds, and a pocketknife. the pocketknife is there for aesthetics.
• deadpool suffers from ptsd and anxiety, but he puts on a façade of a jokester to hide his feelings: he doesn’t want anyone to worry about him.
