Aarre was born of and to Afzal and Vieno following a magical accident. While he was an entirely unexpected surprise, the two took it in stride and were just as doting parents to Aarre as they are to their many adopted and fostered children. Many observe that he seems like a complete melding of his parents, gaining Vieno's ability to use core-based magic as well as a friendly, cheerful disposition, while also gaining Afzal's exceptional strength and intellect, not to mention a double hit of incredible insight from the both of them.
Aarre has so many older siblings and aunts and uncles, and he loves each and every one of them. Even better, they all adore him too! He's spoiled very sweet growing up, never afraid to work to earn things as he wants and never shying away from sharing with others. He adores animals, and frankly he doesn't know a stranger. Now well into adulthood, he's been struck with wanderlust and has set off to adventure in big, wide world on his own...which has awakened Vieno's inner worrywart, but hey, they have technology AND magic to help with that! He's currently in the height of his adventures, eagerly seeing sights and experiencing new people, places, and things.
