This Wolverine is the Deity of the ancient martial arts "Diluvian Clan" and is their protector as well as deity respectfully for those part of. As this later on a "type of protector" as well to the newest Generation.
Also in the modern world a great guy who runs his own Gym and is here for those in need.
Background:
In the past, as a young Wolverine born in the temple grounds, having a steady flow to him as he wanted to achieve...

Meeting Natorin

As Duncan had the battle with the demi Witch Marifa and he and the Kitsune Natorin, with whom he had a few fights with, were suddenly swooped through a portal into the human realm. From Fabula directly. Landing in an old Spa and Onsen place on the snowy mountain. It is run by a family who is currently struggling to get back up. Not only did Duncan land in one of the baths, but got the surprised and confused look of the humans, who have never before seen someone this big.. or furry..
It went with a combined effort, upon finding out Natorin has landed here with him and now both having to work together to manage to return home.
Slowly they learned the langauge and were helping out and before knowing, becoming a mascot and supportive duo as they helped the family back up on their feet.
This later formed a friendship with Natorin who stopped his former plans and changed them, thanks to Duncan. At the time a young Duncan was finding out what he himself wanted. As the wish of "becoming one of the gods" was worth it. Seeing how much good he already could do, he decided to help others.
Witch Marifa, seeing what he and Natorin could do, decided to bring both back to Fabula and letting them have an audience with one of the godlings.
Natorin, seeing the power, had the urge to steal but was held off from Duncan. As the two fought, he got the scar and protected the Godling as he lectured Natorin on how far the Kitsune has coem even without having more powers. Natorin, a lil confused, fled for now (the two will meet again)
As they saw how Duncan fought, deciding he would be a perfect fit. Asking if he would be willing to be part of this new ancient Clan.
As he agreed, meeting the first generation of the founded clan (the wolverines ironically) he became a deity, along the powers, orbs and whatnot.
From that day taking on the task of "The Wolverine Deity"
Trivia:
-Has the ability to talk to other Spirits and Souls as well.
-Can merge into a "spirit/Ghost like" Form
-resides/lives in a made lil wolverine statue figure that the first of the clan had made. (Each generation makes another "shell"/Home" for their deities to dwell in and accompany them) Can be called upon or summoned as well as appear in case of need. (Wherever the lil figure is placed, the are becomes "a temple" to honor.
-Is caring, strict and protective
Powers:
-Chi Absorption: can absorb Chi from his offerings. As well as take objects, take their "Chi appearance" and use (as if copy the item and keep within)
-Immortality: Can never truly die, unless his statue is destroyed along with his Soulpearls. (up then he will be reborn as a normal mortal)
-High intelligence: He has shown a great capacity for technical reasoning.
-Chi Transfer: He is known to have the ability to transfer Chi,
-Has the ability to talk to other Spirits and Souls as well.
-Can merge into a "spirit/Ghost like" Form as well as remain his solid "fleshy" form.

Nowadays:
At a point as the Diluvian Clan was hunted and whiped out, including their deities, it was in a high risk moment that Duncan, despite of the point he could lose his life, stood by his lil Companion as he swore to protect. In battle, while managing to protect all, defeating the guy who was responsible, he was sadly struck. His lil figurestatue along the Soulcore of his Deity self. He would for sure be gone.. While Abby (the offspring of the CLan, offered to take the powers into another to save him) Keeoing the wolverine´s power for him to be succesfully reborn.
As his Soul merged and started to crumbke, the mighty godlings granted him a good rebirth to let him become mortal instead of heading straight to the Otherworld. In a promise he will one day return.
In the modern world (A.k.a Mortal Duncan)
He runs a Gym that is very well known and trains those who want. Had a loving family that sadly died, with only his lil daughter Marley that survived. Very protective of her ashe raised her well to defend and to do better than him in the past. She later became a policegal. (Her Name is Marley)
Duncan eventually found another woman in his life and the two hit it off (while more or less in "friendship with benefits" thing, he does take great care of her kids, who are attending school) The woman is divorced with the two Kids and is thankful for the much needed help.
Duncan is however not bound to anyone. Ever since the loss of his wife and family (except Marley) he is pretty open and shares his compassion and care to male and female (Had a few experiences himself)
While nowadays he lives above the Gym in a big apartment, his daughter Marley had taken an apartment near the policestation she works at and stays in good contact with her "ol man"
