“I… think she means well,” Alden mutters, “But— uh— I’m friends with Faust, and everyone seems to keep telling me that’s a bad idea, so don’t take my word for it,”

   Although unassuming in appearance, with clumsily-mended glasses and dirty-blonde unruly hair, Alden holds himself as if he wasn't bullied throughout highschool for his obsession with mycology, making jokes and quips only he finds amusing. If given the opportunity, Alden could tell you a different mushroom species– alongside a fun fact and safety rating– every day for the rest of your life without coming close to running out of information to share! 

   Since finding himself on the island, Alden has become the most nervous of all the players, trying their best to maintain some sense of normalcy as they stutter through sentences and search for secrets about the island. Somehow, he has consistently found himself being approached by the worst people on the island, many of whom are now considered his friend! 

   While Alden barely had friends in his old life, being friends with a serial killer (though reluctantly), a secret agent, someone who is being protected by the host, and a girl near constantly having an identity crisis is not... exactly what they had in mind.
