SUCCEED OR DIE
Vadim was taken in by Pelletier family to be trained as soldier & hitman. Since his teens, he was given routine injections of the drug, Fera and is one of the few mafia members who have been trained enough to tolerate the drug with minimal side effects.
FERA: a drug that turns the user in a savage or feral state- their physical abilities & recovery rate are heightened, and their pain sensors are numbed. This fast-acting drug is taken by mafia members before fights to give them an upper hand.
However it is extremely unstable and lethal to those who have not slowly built up the tolerance for the drug. If not properly trained, it drives the user mad, and overstimulation can cause excruciating pain.
