Rynn

Rynn is a foundling from parts unknown, raised in a very underfunded orphanage in the port town of Cerule, where she proved to be a bit of a "problem child." She was an absolute terror to her peers, chasing them with giant bugs and picking fights at the slightest provocation. Potential parents must have taken notice, as again and again Rynn watched kids leave, and she stayed behind. By her twelfth birthday, she'd given up hope of ever being wanted, and fled into the woods to care for herself. Ever tenacious and headstrong, she slowly managed to adapt to life in the wild over the course of several years. She even fashioned a crude wooden spear, teaching herself a rough approximation of a dragoon's fighting style. It didn't matter that nobody wanted Rynn, because she didn't need anyone.

Everything changed when she crossed paths (and swords) with local farmhand Lex Lombardi, who would one day become her first real friend. It would be her meeting with Lex that would lead to the adventure of a lifetime, of heroism and Crystals, and discovering her heart's desire.
