Xiu Fei-Long

From a young age, Xiu was ashamed of her short stature. Being among the last tarutaru alive, her family struggled to keep up with their larger and more productive peers. Xiu's elderly father risked life and limb in the mines dotted across the mountain range, despite his small, weak frame. Seeing his daily sacrifice for her sake, Xiu wanted nothing more than to be strong enough to help. 

From then on, she began a daily training regimen, pounding away at dummies (organic and otherwise), punching bags, trees, boulders--anything she could reach. She pushed herself harder and harder over years of karate, weight lifting and meditation, trying everything she could to get stronger so she could provide for her family. But no amount of personal growth could prepare her for the day of the attack. 

Ifrit: A fearsome demon with an explosive temperament and mastery over the flames of Hell. By the time the guard arrived, it had already engulfed the town in an inferno of incredible horror. The mines caved in, taking the lives of dozens of workers, and mangling still more. Among the injured was Xiu's old man, legs broken beyond repair. Months have passed since that day, and now Xiu prepares to leave her village in search of revenge. She doesn't know who summoned that cursed eidolon, or why. Whatever the case, she won't rest until whoever is responsible has felt at least twice the pain her father has.
