Buster/Xavier

NOTE: This section can be skipped if you have no knowledge of the how to train your dragon franchise.
These stories are also quite simplified, shortened and less detailed just so you can get the basic idea instead of scrolling forever.
One of the first dragons to be raised ny humans primarily after the peace among the vikings. Causing him to get the title "The Symbol Of Peace." He was found as an abandoned egg by trader Johann delivered to Berk since it was the only place he knew that was friendly with dragons.

When the dragon riders were informed about the mysterious egg which of course Fishlegs was immediately excited about it bringing the book of dragons to help possibly identify it. Heading to the farm where the egg was stored, they studied the egg looking nothing like any of the eggs they already knew the apprentice of. After much speculating of what it could be they ended up with nothing.
When the egg finally started hatching and out came a blue dragon with a long tail, wide wings and frills on their head. The first face it saw was Fishleg's as it took an instant liking to the viking. Fishleg's tried to offer the new dragon the typical dragon food: Fish, Chicken, Mutton and so on, but it seemed grossed out by it all. That was until Mulch came in to put a sack of sunflower seeds into storage, the little one seemed to get alert and take interest in the sack as it used its teeth to make a little hole in the bag to eat the seeds. That's when they discovered the creature is a herbivore. Being called Buster due to him constantly ripping bags open causing seeds to burst everywhere.

Over the years the dragon grew discovering its abilities such as shapeshifting, a lightning breath he can only only have when hit/nearby by lightning or flying right above/swimming on the surface of the ocean after/during a lightning storm to absorb the electrical discharge. He randomly discovered he's a timetraveler hints the other timelines below, but him being a timetraveler and shapeshifter can also be glossed over in stories or roleplays as it can be overall confusing even for me. He also simply doesn't mention it to anyone outside of his partner.

The dragon wandered the streets confused why the humans were hiding away and screaming "DRAGON!!!" eventually the royal guards showed up as he lowered his head trying to show he wasn't a threat, but the guards didn't buy it as they tied him up and put him in a wagon to take to the castle dungeon. The princess overheard the dragon roaring for help in the dungeon below as she snuck down to make she he was alright. Wondering why he was down there, she removed his chains as she ran and hid just to be safe. The dragon just seemed happy to be free and didn't chase the girl as he tried to get the wing straps off. The girl came out of hiding realizing the dragon meant no harm, helping to get the wing straps off before she heard a "Um-hum" behind her. It was the monkey Butler Rufus! She begged for him not to tell the guards. He gave a thumbs up before also helping the dragon get free.

The King decided to check on the new prisoner just to see the dragon nuzzling his head against both the princess and the butler. At first he was about to yell at them both before realizing how gentle and peaceful the creature seemed with them.
The King decided to let the princess keep the dragon as a pet in hopes he'd become a good protector of the castle and his daugther.
Buster became quite close with the Butler discovering he was also a shapeshifter with completely different forms than the dragon. He learnt the Butler is also a shapeshifter with his primary form being a highland cow and is only monkey in disguise among humans since its more believable that a monkey can talk to humans. Which blew Buster's mind as he can't even talk to humans besides a rare few that can talk to animals.

Over the years, Rufus and Buster have become a partners.
Rufus taking on multiple jobs and hobbies through the years from being a cook to Computer Technician he can do it all!
They both tend to disguise themselves as what's considered "modern day pets" as to not freak these modern humans out. Buster usually becoming reptiles, birds, Canines or aquatics while Rufus becomes Rodents or Equines.

The humans have started calling Buster, Xavier instead which he doesn't understand it, but he loves the new name!
A lot of people end up adopting them in these modern times they've also spent time in pet stores meeting all sorts of other animals.
