Secret

"I knew it!"

Secret is mostly calm and collected when spoken to, although he doesn’t talk to much people anyway. He will absolutely mock and ridicule people who he feels are weak, and will start a fight with them if they escalate it. He’ll start fights anyways if he feels like it.

After the day when he first killed, Secret became a rogue. Killing was what made him feel good and worth something for once. Some people would even hire him to kill, but unless they had a really good offer, he‘s not interested and would rather do it for himself and not for them.

Secret mostly does his work at night, being able to hide underneath the shadows with his dark colors and all. He moves very quickly too, so that makes it even harder to catch him. He relies mostly on his tail as a weapon, but often uses his custom-made swords too.

ABILITY:

He can inject a deadly venom from the purple tip of his tail. How much venom he injects determines how much time the victim has to get a cure before they die. Although he only has a certain amount of venom before his body becomes weak, which is determined by his smaller, purple horns where the venom is contained in. The less venom he has left, the less purple his horns become, and the weaker he gets.

Secret’s mom was incredibly popular back in Novius Town, and was known to be one of the most heroic people there. Secret felt overlooked and nothing compared to his mom. Him getting his powers late just added salt to the wound too. He actually felt like he was born without one at some point. He was either bullied for it, or simply got ignored and people only ever wanted to interact with his mother.

He felt his mom never paid him any attention, and how overshadowed he felt. He grew resentful of his mother, but mostly to the people that gave her this popularity in the first place. Secret started fights with other kids, and would often go too far, but never won against any of them. His mom tried to talk to him about it, but by then, he was already too angry at her to do anything but fight.

Secret eventually left his home at 18. He’d once again found someone to pick a fight with a year later, but this time, it was different. Before this, he only ever used his tail as an extra weapon, piercing through people’s skin. When doing that again this time, he ended up injecting a deadly venom onto his victim, and the tip of his tail turned purple. Within minutes, the great horned owl that was his victim fell dead.

Secret, albeit suddenly weak and exhausted, never felt so powerful before, in addition to the burst of euphoria he got that finally got his powers after over a decade of waiting. The scars he received from this fight was worth it, and he took one of the feathers of the dead owl as a trophy, to always remind him of this moment. He quickly ran away and moved to IronForge City after washing the blood off his feet. He doesn’t know if the people knew he murdered the owl or if they never found out.
