Eridani (“Dwarf Star”)

Once the runt of their clutch and expected to die young, this Tech Drake managed to work its way through the ranks and become the emperor of an interstellar empire. Born fragile and weak, they slowly rebuilt and modified their own body, turning themself into a living weapon. Capable of beating opponents several times their size in one-on-one combat, known for using dirty tactics and never showing mercy. However, despite this skill they are cunning and manipulative, using others to do their bidding first before fighting themself. 

The blood of this species has unique properties, being able to be superheated into a plasma-like state for an adrenaline-like rush and for self defense, evolutionarily. Dwarf Star’s body modifications allow this blood to be replenished and rerouted to different areas, used to power the floating pieces of their modular tail tips, as well as plasma cannons in the wings. Excess heat is released through wing membranes and vents in chest to prevent overheating.
