Personality
they're a very curious and trusting individual. they prefer to avoid a fight if possible but can fight when necessary. Being a fungi they see themselves as more of an observer as they observe how individuals interact. One thing they discovered upon taking on a human form is taste - since this discovery they've become really passionate about trying out anything and EVERYTHING. Despite this passion they're still barely able to cook -- they haven't managed to kill anyone at leastt!

History
A fungi with a human form
Casper isnt actually sure when he gained sentience or enough energy to shift into an alternate form. However they do know that prior to their human form their only experience of this world had been with touch alone. So when they did shift They discovered the other 4 senses and the wonders that come with it.. Specifically food.
They have made it their life's goal to try out anything and EVERYTHING .. yes including mushrooms though they'd only eat those once and never again.. its- they dont really WANT to be a cannible haha. Given this they will use themself as a test subject if they come accross any new possible ingridient which has given them plenty of expierience. Somehow they haven't managed to kill anyone!
Hurt Mushroom
Casper was labled a curiosity ny most and unfortunetly found the wrong person when he was still really new to this world. They have seen humanities horrors first hand but they still find themslef curious about humanity rather than angry at them. Casper plays the role of an observer when it comes to humanity.
Thankfully someone rescued Casper from that person as well as raising him into society. The kindness that individual showed gave Casper hope and also started their obssession with food. The worst part for Casper? no matter how much they try they still cannot cook no matter what they try, truely a cruel world they live in.
Casper eventually took on this persons form after they died, to both honor their memory and the name he gave them. Human emotions are still very new to Casper but they know that they still really miss their rescuer.
