Nicomachus is an eccentric artist who took his own life after the production of his favored paints was discontinued. While at first it appeared his fate in death was to be the same as in life—an unknown artist living in squalor—his brilliance caught the attention of Cynvar Erebosus. Cynvar granted Nicomachus patronage of House Erebosus, drawing him into elite circles where word of the artist’s magnificence quickly spread. Nicomachus’ works are coveted among those of fine taste, and any who sit for him count themselves among the lucky few to receive a portrait by his hand. Though Nicomachus is capricious and melodramatic, only painting and sculpting when inspired, his artistic gift ensures continued patronage from Cynvar.
