Asmodel
[ About ]
Like many Recolored, Asmodel was abandoned by his parents on Earth in a nuclear power plant and therefore has no family name.
Asmodel is just 1.52 m tall. Exposed for a long time to high levels of radiation, his growth didn't reach full maturity, and he was left with the height of a 13-year-old child. He is now 26 years old. Like all Recolored, radiation also changed his hair color, which is blue, and his eyes, which are turquoise.
Asmodel is the angel of clarity in the Old Testament. As such, he represents the one who brings information to Adam (when Misuka was abducted, for example). But he's also the one Adam can always count on when he doesn't know what to do, providing answers and solutions to his problems. Indeed, Asmodel's ability to step back from many situations makes him an excellent advisor. He always supports Adam and is the one who understands and knows him best. He can also tell when Adam is hiding his true personality under an impassive ice mask.
Highly intelligent and curious to learn more, Asmodel is knowledgeable in many fields, but not an expert in anything, and has a cheerful nature, always putting things into perspective, and an unwavering trust and admiration for Adam, whom he considers his best friend. He's very good at fighting, although he prefers to fight from a distance with his own pistol.
Despite this, Asmodel is tormented by his own demons, regretting having left Adam alone for so long when he failed to flee Earth with him. What's more, even though he tries to hide it, Asmodel hates his body and wishes he could grow old like everyone else.

[ Story ]
Like Adam, Asmodel worked in the same nuclear power plant. He was always more alert than the other children working in the factories, so he taught Adam many things when they became friends (reading, writing, the history of mankind...).
Together, they vowed to leave Earth one day and become pirates. Unfortunately, their escape didn't go as planned, and to allow Adam to escape, Asmodel sacrificed himself, staying on Earth for several more years. After proving himself as a pirate, Adam convinced Elber and the crew who had taken him under their wing to recover Asmodel, who had remained on Earth.
Later, when Asmodel officially joins the crew of the Alcyone, he will ask to undergo difficult training to become a lieutenant and support Adam, despite his frail health. Indeed, Asmodel's faith in Adam is unshakeable, and he sees him as something of a savior. However, he remains perplexed and unable to make a decision when he learns that Adam has lifted the order to invade the Galaxian ship Orion, and when the entire crew exiles Adam to Earth for failing to respect the pirate code of honor. But he finally decides to leave the Alcyone to join Adam on Earth and help him. It is he who tells Adam that the crew of Argeus have found the famous Galaxian treasure, which is none other than Misuka herself.
[ Relationships ]
He's Adam's best friend, whom he considers a bit like his little brother. For a long time, Asmodel was the only one to understand Adam's fragility. That's why he's always been very protective of him, sometimes even a little too much so. He cares more for Adam than for his own life, and would sacrifice himself (again) for him if necessary. However, this overprotectiveness sometimes led Asmodel and Adam to quarrel, especially when Adam wasn't entirely honest with him. Despite this, Asmodel will always stand by Adam, no matter what obstacles stand in their way, because he is the most important person in his eyes.
When Adam and his crew rescued Mizuka from the terrible captain of the Betelgeuse Argéus, Asmodel was the first friend Mizuka made on the Alcyone. He listened to her, showing her that life was worth living and that she had to move on. It's thanks to Asmodel that Mizuka has rediscovered a taste for life and the desire to avenge her loved ones. Perhaps because of her childlike, angelic appearance, Mizuka managed to open up to Asmodel, who also did the same, confiding in her most hidden demons.
A former lieutenant on the Alcyone when Elber was its captain, Reese is Asmodel's mentor. He trained Asmodel in the dagger and pistol fighting, greatly influencing his fighting style. He also trained him as a lieutenant when Asmodel asked him to, so that he could support Adam when he became captain. Reese means a lot to Asmodel, and he appreciates him greatly, even after many years without seeing each other.
