Avery

Avery is a male adult spotted hyena. He travelled together with Jewel as his sidekick for a time. Avery is a great mind for mapping regions, that's why Jewel and him become a duo, protecting each other's back. He also is very cunning, quick-tempered and his big brain helped him in saving Jewel's life once. 

Avery teached Jewel his language, being able also to learn how to speak lion. They still have their accents but manage to communicate well and understandabble. Avery was kicked of his pack due to his wish to be friends with lions and for not being enough. He's eternally grateful to Jewel.
