Tom is a very prideful, and egotistical anomaly. He adores attention and loves to showoff. Tom is extremely smart, and physically advanced. Due to his strange nature, Tom doesn't pick up on certain social cues. He tends to be oblivious to negative/sad emotions around him. In fact, Tom himself fails to show sadness in any way( on the outside, at least..).
He can come off as very rude or insensitive. He sticks to his stuck-up, aristocratic ways and is not uncomfortable with looking down on others. Later in his years, though, he does unlearn this way of thinking.
He dearly loves Yolanda, more than his other companions(But he doesn't show this, of course). His feelings on Loren are a bit complicated to say the least.

*Tom was technically always around. He and our current Yolanda had resided within Phase 0 Yolanda as mere figures of consciousness. 

During the Extraction Procedure, the biomass taken from P0 Yolanda was then stored away to be thrown out. But somehow, mysteriously this soup of stem cells and blood had become alive. And soon enough it found a magnet and a staff worker in the Lab.
The Lab staff was directed by Empress Ārdratā, Head of BioMed and Medicine in the Empire, to contain the anomaly and run tests on him. When the staff were trying to figure out how Tom could possibly be born they had come up with no conclusions. 

The name Thomas was given to the anomaly, which was chosen by the first Lab worker who had found him. ( She had got the name from a famous bunny-Altrmorphii in the Empire)

After a while, Empress Ārdratā had figured out Thomas stemmed from Yolanda's procedure. She proceeded to give Tom to Yolanda and Loren, In order to see how he'd act with society. 

Despite Tom being (in the Empire's eyes) better than Yolanda, he was still treated as a lower life-form by society. He had all of Original Yolanda's charm, her talents, status, AND memories, and yet he was shoved off to the side as some pet. This angered him greatly and for a moment he was fiercely jealous of Yolanda.
