Profile

Based on the Stealthfin Trout.

Mezzopi was a quiet Zora child, often overlooked by peers and adults alike. They had a way of slipping through the cracks and being left behind. This never bothered them, as they always liked to play alone with the crabs scuttling about Zora’s Domain. Roughly a decade before the Calamity’s defeat, Mezzopi befriended an enthusiastic blond Hylian boy visiting the domain with his trade caravan. The two became fast friends. Unfortunately, a small sect of Yiga mistook the boy for the Hero of Legend. Although Mezzopi’s friend survived, his injuries were bad enough he would never walk again. Mezzopi swore she would learn how to outsmart and beat the Yiga at their own game. Mezzopi travelled to Kakariko Village, and asked to be trained in the Sheikah manner of stealth and combat. Although it took some time to win the people’s trust, they spent the next ten years studying and mastering these new skills.

Mezzopi is reserved and thoughtful, but her quietness belies a clever mind. Although quite serious about their training and quest to fight the Yiga, when it comes to downtime, Mezzopi is surprisingly playful, and even mischievous. They are often enigmatic, and those who don’t know them well often view them as mysterious and hard to understand—but deep down, she is just a loyal friend who stepped outside of her bubble to seek out her own kind of justice.
