manami hoshi

manami is a nixie (shapeshifting water spirit) who usually takes on the form of a teenage girl. she can shapeshift at will into any organism that she has touched in her life, though it is generally triggered by emotion and can become uncontrollable. manami chooses to maintain her human form as she believes it makes her life the easiest. she catches fish, collects seashells, and sells them as a means to support her adoptive family.
