Foruta Mesnag [four-oohh-tah mess-nag] is the lead guitarist and manager for "Melpom & the Melody", an indie pop band started by him and his moirail, Melpom Harpha. Foruta was raised by his lusus to be “kind, but not foolish; strong, but not oppressive," and he has lived by that rule for his entire life. Ru is someone who gets very passionate about things very quickly, from work-related projects to his relationships with people; though, sometimes, that passion ends up being misplaced, much to his detriment. He's fiercly loyal and a hell of a people pleaser, to the point where his friends often compare him to a dog. His voice claim is Marshall Lee from Adventure Time.

Foruta is from a fantroll roleplaying group called "Thunkstunk", which is a version of Alternia where the events of Homestuck didn't occur and Sgrub does not exist.
Trivia.
- Xe likes spicy and salty things, bitter coffee, and taking his lusus out on walks.
- Xe has a habit of biting xir pencils and pens, often breaking them in the process. Xe's accidentally tasted graphite and ink more times than xe would like to admit.
- Xe is 6'1" with a heavy set build; fat and muscular, broad shouldered, just a big guy.
