Azrali is an old death god who was banished long ago from attempting to either kill or zombify those who didn’t follow him and him alone, Banished to the plane of shadow to keep him away from the mortal plane. However there was a prophecy of a child bringing him back, and his actions afterwards either saving or dooming the world. Azrali then awoke in his old temple, now overgrown with plants. He saw the small draconic child in front of him and immediately made a plan, making a deal with the child that if he became a cleric in his name Azrali would give him the power to avenge his village. After the child accepted Azrali would follow him around, with each deal Akris made with Azrali, the more Azrali could influence his actions. When Akris became friends with Kohara Azrali knew it would be a problem for his plans. So when Kohara took the stone in hopes to protect Akris from Azrali, Azrali saw it as the perfect opportunity to get rid of him, and it worked perfectly. He would then continue to gain more influence over Akris, now waiting for the perfect catastrophe to set his old plan in motion once more.
