Rigel is an 18 year old Wizard in training specializing in the Dark Arts!...Or well..He's suppose to anyway, Thing about Rigel is though he comes from a very old and well known Family of Wizards who have specialized heavily in the Dark arts for generations he's...not very good at Dark magic..or any magic at all really. That's not to say Rigel isn't smart or that hes not very powerful because actually the exact opposite is true. He's an A+ student in all his classes that have to do with written subjects and when it comes to power hes actually very well above where a young Wizard should be at his age..well then whats the problem?

Well for starters Rigel has a deathly fear of ghost and spirits. Yup you heard that right. He's scared of ghost. Hes also scared of skulls, Black cats, Crows and really everything having to do with the Dark Arts. This fear happened because Rigels been powerful from a young age and because he's so powerful his practice spells and summons are also usually very powerful. Which means when he was little and he tried to summon a small tiny Spirit from the other side for his first time. Rigel got a full very powerful, very large and very scary looking Demon instead who nearly ate Rigel whole for summoning him. Thus ever since Rigels had a pretty large fear of the Dark Arts and has activily avoided summoning anything ever since.

He planned to never do magic again however after his mother went missing due to mysterious circumstances Rigel has been trying to get over that fear by practicing the Dark Arts he's still..not very good at it. Mostly because if things get to scary he'll freak out and lose control more time then not causing distruction in his wake. He never lets that discourage him though! He'll become a Dark Magic master if it kills him! Hopefully not literally. Though now that he's 19 the time has come for him to Find a magical familiar to be his guide and compainion to his magic. His father tell's him that it will help to stablize his magic which is getting more and more out of control the longer Rigel goes without training it but he's not so sure about that...However if Rigel wants a chance at finding out what happened to his mother he's gonna need help. No mattter how terrfying that might seem.
