Youngest of the 4 Wilde siblings, Tate has dodged a lot of pressure and responsibility of his family business, spending most of his days herding cattle, exploring the desert, and hopping around town. Lately, hes even managed to befriend reclusive Father Damian, and the two are often spotted in the late night by the church.
Tate is ruled by the fierce desire to be master of his own destiny; he despises being told what to do, and is determined to find his own way in life. If it was up to him, he'd spend his whole life under the american sun, herding sheep and chasing dreams. However, with the recent death of his father, Tate has found the weight of family and responsibility more overbearring than ever.
Tate is one of the few people allowed close to Damian, emotionally or physically. Tate has seemingly cracked the code to getting Damian to open up, but most outsiders cannot seem to decypher the true nature of their relationship.
Having offered Anton a job shortly after meeting, the two have maintained a close relationship. They bond over being the youngest in their families and losing loved ones, and Tate is eager to have someone to show the secret places hes found to.
Though hoping to find a friend in Dahlia, Tate finds himself distrusting her after witnessing her following and hounding after Damian. He suspects she has a greater agenda to her story than she claims, and is one of the few people to earn his rare ire.
Tate has piebaldism, resulting in patches of lighter skin and white body and facial hair.
His horse is a chestnut mustang named Scorpion.
He reads, writes, and speaks English and Spanish, and knows some French.
