He's a monotype fighting user. Typically kinda rude to basically anyone that's not a girl. Despite being nice to girls he's still a bit of a machismo. He's also extremely flirty, he has had multiple girlfriends in the past but once he started dating Klara she chased them all away. He might have a bit of a drinking problem stemming from a bad home life.

He works at Marin's gym with Ajo (When Ajo isn't in Galar. Higo works there year-round though), and he's honestly expecting to take over the gym when Marin retires. That or get his own. It's his goal in life to become a Gym Leader.
At work where Ajo specializes in breeding/selecting teams for Marin's use, Higo specializes in EV training.

| Ajo | They were childhood friends, and did date at one point when they were young, but Ajo broke it off. Because of this he has a lot of animosity towards Ajo, and neither of them can hardly stand the other. Unfortunately they're constantly forced to interact because Ajo also works at Marin's Gym and is literally the son of his employer. He's also just always been close with the family and them breaking up did not change that. |
| Marin | Ajo's dad. Although unsaid they both see each other as family. Higo has an absent father and Marin always made sure Higo was taken care of for the most part cause he felt for his situation. Marin is always inviting Higo to family events due to this, much to Ajo's annoyance. |
| Chalót | Ajo's mom. Although she doesn't perfectly fit the mother figure to Higo (cause she's not the average stay-at-home mom type), he still sees her as family like with Marin. |
| Avery | Klara's bestieeee. Higo honestly doesn't interact with him much, but he definitely dislikes him due to Avery's closeness with Ajo. But, since he's Klara's best friend, Higo does refrain from inflicting physical violence on Avery when he annoys him. Which might not mean a lot, but to him it is. |
| Manzano | Ajo's friend. Higo doesn't really care for him, but he doesn't really hate him either. The same cannot be said about Manzano to Higo. The guy HATES him. |
