Arthur

Arthur is a star child that lives with his work partner that at some point became his life partner as well. He works along side other people that happen to be a creature/alien/magic being/meta human of some form in a collection of teams that is part of a government organization aimed toward helping people like Arthur & the others find work & shelter/recover from terrible situations. Arthur's job is to help out with searching for stuff & fight if needed or stand guard(technically the FBI? I dunno I'm thinking of Criminal Minds), while this is his job he doesn't always work as he has to be assigned to a mission. When not working he's either hanging around where he lives, out with friends & his partner(usually if invited or asked to show up) or staying inside his current home.

Arthur is a nice but timid/quiet person that is a bit reclusive at times due to past trauma, his partner & friends do their best to help him open up more along side getting him out of the house as it's a struggle sometimes. He's a bit of a sweetheart when you get close to him, he tries to help out & try to be friendly but he can get a bit anxious so he might be nervous about if he messed up or is around too many strangers. He doesn't seem to care about how his outfits make him look(whether it's masculine or feminine) as long as he like how it looks/feels though he often dresses in outfits that show he's a bit of a scene kid or possibly from the 2000s but when at home he is in clothes good for lounging.


Due to an incident his face has scars & he's blind in one eye due to it having been removed at some point. He sadly doesn't remember how this happened & the injuries have left him scared of showing his face leading to wearing a prosthetic masks.(His friends have painted eyebrows on it, has stars on cheeks of mask & sometimes has stickers on it) Sometimes instead of his mask Arthur wears a medical/facial mask that hides everything on his face below the eyes(sometimes with an eye patch) or bandages/something that covers his facial scars as it makes him feel less panicked in public with them covered.
Though he's a little short he's in his 20s though he's lost track at some point which doesn't exactly matter anymore as he's ageless.

At some point when he got his facial injuries Arthur was slowly turned into a species of alien that's known as Children of Gem, living gem people that are pretty much ageless & at times immortal as their bodies can slowly be restored if damaged or can also be repaired with broken pieces of their bodies. For some reason Arthur was made a phosphophyllite gem person. At least gem/mineral seems to be phosphophyllite as despite how it looks the gems/minerals making up Arthur's body seems to be a highly reinforced version of phosphophyllite or some bizzare copycat gem/mineral that can't be damaged easily especially compared to the gem/mineral it is possibly mimicing since phosphophyllite are fragile.
Arthur's body turned off white a slight shine as he became a Child of Gem though for reasons unknown reasons his face & most of his hair is still as it was when he was human.


Arthur use to live with one of his uncles growing up due to the disappearance of his parents, the incident that led to his facial scars, missing eye & trauma induced amnesia led to the loss of his uncle. Arthur went on to live with his other uncle after this & finished high school while living with him. Arthur now lives with his work/life partner as he tries to return to a life of his own & sometimes goes on missions with his partner or team/friends. Life is still tricky for him but he has support & the mental medical care/support(thanks to insurance from his job) to help him move past what happened at least enough to enjoy the present.
