Marchellan Castor

A wandering druid with a prickly personality.  Marchellan was very sickly for a long time when he was young, which has had lasting effects on his body since, causing him to be of weaker constitution.  He largely remedies this by self-medication, using alchemical solutions largely consistent of various plants and mushrooms.  He wanders from town to town, doing odd jobs(of varying legality) to afford temporary board in order to rest from the previous journey.

Marchellan doesn't like people, and his upbringing gave him a  very transactional view on life.  He avoids getting too involved with people to avoid having to owe too many favors if he can help it.  Unprompted acts of kindness worry him, as he's come to expect it to be something held against him later on.  These fears are what largely seem to be what keeps him insistent on being a drifter, regardless of how exhausting travel can be for him.

He is specifically a Circle of Spores druid, and happens to know a  lot on the subject of fungi, notably its uses and applications as medicine and poison.  He may or may not also be somewhat of a host to some of the more dubious fungus he uses for his medication.  It's probably fine though.

Design-wise, he is based on velvet worms.
