Alto Maiden
As seamlessly similar as they can be, the twins are quite different in their truths. Unlike Arlotte, Alto is much more reserved, keeping well to himself and arguably more akin to their older brother, Aichi, in personality. Well-hearsed in violin.

Summary
It's a true testament to his acting that Alto can keep such a charade going strong, being such a gentle person behind the mask. Deeming nothing better than a cup of warm tea and a wonderful book—or perhaps the violin,—Alto keeps all to himself when he can, perusing Newgold in its later hours and silently admiring the night-time from higher towers of the not-so-humble abode of their cathedral.
admiration of the timid kind
It's unclear whether Alto's personality simply is his own, or if perhaps he admires his older brother more than he infers—and perhaps finds comfort in such a similar demeanor; that perhaps, in this way, whenever apart from his siblings, he can find a sense of reassurance in an attitude he knows so well.

Companions
Twin brother. Though he may not speak as much as Arlotte, Alto always does his utmost to listen to every word his brother words. A born comedian.
Older brother. Utterly admirable, Arlotte's strength is bested only by Aichi. Despite the antics with his twin, he gets along wonderfully with Aichi when all is peaceful.
Younger sister. No commanding fist could hold steady before her—and even though Alto often scolds Arlotte for all that doting, it would be impossible to say his sister's charms never get her spoiled by him too.
