Being a delusion, Kanaye possesses a strength unparalleled by any other than her kind. However, due to being younger and less fledged, her strength is somewhat lacking compared to a delusion like Hage or Dalema. She makes up for this in her giant cleaving sword and Shinko Form, in which she can transform into using her headphones. Excess durability and incredible resilience puts her in the vitality of the older delusions, surpassing even some.

MY NAME IS KANAYE- DELUSION OF JUSTICE, AND MEMBER TO URBAN DUST. SURRENDER, OR FALL TO MY BLADE!
Every single delusion was born in the spirit plane, and Kanaye was no different. However, due to being born AFTER the wipe, the realms were in a constant unstable flux, and as such, upon being born, Kanaye was instantly slingshot into the mortal plane instead. This would not have been that large of a deal, as all the delusions were notified of her creation, had it not been that she landed in the exact middle of wartime New Santos.
Due to this unique upbringing, Kanaye has a much more different perception of her concept than the rest of the Delusions hold. While every other delusion knows that they are created from a mass "lie" from humanity, Kanaye genuinely believes in the concept of "Justice", and sees the world through the lens of right and wrong. If something cannot be applied to this scale, she lashes out in frustration.
Currently, Kanaye is working in a crime-fighting group called URBAN DUST. Though her teammates may perceive her as a little bizarre and forthcoming sometimes, there is no doubt of the value she provides for the team.
The other delusions have kept a curiously close eye on her development. It appears that each new delusion has been born stronger and stronger, and Kanaye holds no different...
