Becoming an idol was always Hina's dream, ever since she was little. She didn't have any inherent talent, but she practiced hard every day, and in her teens, she ended up succeeding at a certain audition.
She became part of a new princess unit, and it was decided based on her audition results that she would become the center of the group; she has a great relationship with the rest of the girls, though she has always felt that they are slightly out of step with each other.
Affectionately called "Hime-Hime" by her fans (due to her name), she is seen as the peak of princess-like idols, and the group's popularity has lately skyrocketed.
This would be all well and good if it didn't go and shuffle everything up. In order to respond to explosive fan desires, they will be collaborating with another similarly-sized girl group - one consisting entirely of princes. This is what throws Hina's life out of order.

Hina has always been a very cheerful and sociable girl. In some ways, however, she can be a little socially awkward. She is often able to compensate on the fly but she will sometimes say things that come across as a bit naive.
She isn't very in touch with her own feelings, which causes her a lot of turmoil once she starts falling in love. For a while she can't help but wonder if something's wrong with her; but looking at Ayumu, she just can't help it.
She's extremely hard-working and it's rare you will find her doing anything "unproductive". She's very careful about managing her time so it doesn't overwork her body, however, because a sick body would simply waste more time. In some ways, this can get toxic for her.

The woman that will go on to completely mess up Hina's life, but not in a bad way. They first meet at the introductions for the collab between their two units; of course, both being centers for their group, they're "paired up" for the music video. It involves a lot of dancing, which is already quite hands-on.
But Hina, she immediately starts to realize that there's more to their relation than just that. They quickly become friends, and Hina starts to feel in a way that no "friend" has ever made her feel, and it freaks her out.
At the same time, it just makes her so incredibly happy, too. She wishes she could just spend every waking moment with her.
- Outside of idol work, Hina's casual style is reminiscent of himekaji. She also often wears glasses and/or a mask to go outside; surprisingly, she doesn't get recognized that often, and she is usually left alone.
- Hina's girl group is very princess-focused, so they wear big, fluffy dresses and usually also tiaras (though not always). Hina's image color is pink, so she will always wear pink. The girl group has five members.
- Casually, she favors very short skirts and shorts. Though she starts wearing those short things way more often when she's around Ayumu. At first, she excuses it away to herself by saying it's just cause it's her favorites.
