Character backstory: Angel is a psychopomp, aka a being that guides the dead to the other side. Angel's current "assignment" is to find lost souls who died on highways who still think they're driving, and help them pass over. She likes to call it 'search and rescue'. Since she is not supposed to 'judge' any of these souls, only guide them, she is partially blind. Her vision only allows her to see the general energy/aura of the other beings around her- she sees what most don't.

Though she's not a bad person, her occupation plus her VERY intense personality scares a lot of people. She is extremely emotional and volatile once you break her cool facade. (And it's not that hard to break past it).

Angel has a history with JD, a demon, and is somewhat obsessively in love with them. She is usually looking for JD whenever she isn't actively doing her job. She is extremely jealous of anyone else who is close to them and tends to act a little possessive, much to JD's distaste.
