a first-year student at reimei academy. despite his unsettling aura, and resting bitch face, he’s very charismatic and playful. on the contrary of his colleague, francy rosheen, he is very selfish and puts himself first.
public appearances are a big thing for him, due to the hierarchy-focused structure his school has. by rosheen’s order, he pretends to be the leader of the unit he’s in, MEI✕TRUX. he only puts on the facade during formal meetings, lives, meetups, etc.
he is very polite during formal meetings. but outside of public appearances, he can make really snarky remarks when he’s annoyed by others. he speaks what’s on his mind, but can genuinely be nice to the ones he’s close to.
ruki is greedy, he loves money. so, leading up to MEI✕TRUX's demise he's the reason why it all happens. in ruki's perspective, rosheen wasn't doing nothing. rosheen was only being praised for his voice, and they didn't care about him! they didn't see him, he was the one who got put all of this major responsibility by rosheen too.
so why not earn the big money for the unit for himself without doing the hard work?
with this plan, it all backfires. their name in vain, the unit is tainted. becoming an example on what idols shouldn't do. because who would ever do that? ruki decides to remain in remei academy after this incident despite all the backlash. unlike rosheen who ran away from it, he'll face up to it. he'll own up to it and tell the world he can change. he won't cower in fear and leave for something they did. he starts to prioritize others after this all happens.
