Yoshinaga Luana is a 15 year old high schooler. She spends most of her time with her frineds and older sister. When she is not doing any of that she does keep training to fight as a pretty cure.
As Cure Joy she is an offense cure. She works with the others cure, especially Cure Party. Even when she fights alone she is still be able to weaken the enemy by a lot.
✦ Appearance
As Luana she wears a white t shirt that is mostly covered by a light yellow blouse with semi pastel orange borders. She also wears jean shorts (with pockets) and wears orange shoes with light orange bows on the side. Her hair is a short brown color that is tied up into two pig tails. She also carries a blue and pink bag to carry her Joy Pad.
As Cure Joy she wears a black skirt that is a bit poofy and has a small yellow outline that is connected to the top of her outfit and up to the collar of her outfit in which is covered by her Joy Crystal. The top of her out of her outfit consits of small poofy short sleeves with a yellow border. She also has sleeves that have a feater look at the end of her sleeve near her hand. She wears black thigh high books with yellow heels. Her hairs grows to a honey yellow that reaches to her thigs.

When Luana was born she mostly grew up with her grandparents and her older sister (Noriko). While growing up both her and Noriko grew a strong (sisterly) relationship with each other before her sister.
When she entered middle school she met Aysegül. Both of them were shy at first but they warmed up to each other. Their friendship grew the strongest when both of them became pretty cures.
After recruiting more cures to make the Joy Time Precure team, she was able learn about her isloation during her childhood and how being a cure helped her a lot, especially making friends and helping others.
| Aysegül İleri | Aysegül İleri or Cure Party is her best friend. Both of them met when they were first year of middle school. They bonded quickly. Their friendship grew more and more when they found out both of them were pretty cure. |
| Yoshinaga Noriko | Yoshinaga Noriko or Cure Winter is her older sister. Both of them hung out a lot when they were younger until Noriko moved to the United States as an exchanged student. When she came back to Japan to go live with her. After realizing that Luana is a cure, she decided to ask if she can join her group. |
| Wasure | Wasure is her biggest enemy. She really despises on what she has done to the city whenever she attacks. Both of them have opposing viewpoints especially when it comes to on what is the point of saving people's memories. |
