You seem familiar, have I stolen from you before?
Toby is, to put it bluntly, a little shit. He often steals things he doesn't need to steal, shows off his element whenever he can, and is pretty cocky. He enjoys winding up anyone he comes across, though really just acts like this for attention. It can get kind of lonely wandering Ninjago alone.

- Toby is randomly really good at climbing trees, mountains, whatever. Professional good.
Before
Toby, like almost all Ninjago children, is an orphan. After being found by the Munce in the caves in Shintaro he was taken in by them. No one knows why he was abandoned in the mountain, though it turned out to be fitting after he started showing signs of him being the elemental master of Crystal. Toby enjoyed his time with the Munce, though quickly started growing bored and restless, wanting desperately to leave and explore Ninjago. The Munce won't stop being asked by the kid for him to be allowed to leave.
Now
After some asking and realizing the Munce wouldn't ever agree until he was "old enough", Toby simply decided to run away. After leaving he quickly became aware of Sonic, often looking into peoples houses through their windows to watch them play games or watch media from the franchise. He also made sure to steal someones hoodie when they fell asleep watching it. Toby goes from town to town, quickly getting a reputation in each place as a "bad kid".
