Glade

An elderly viscet who spends his time steeped in nostalgia. He has endured some rough times in his life, but the hard times made the good memories that much sweeter. Not a grumpy old man at all, he enjoys seeing the cheerful faces of the young ‘uns enjoying their own lives. Glade’s main hobby is sewing, particularly embroidery and crochet. He likes to keep a stock of crocheted animals and handmade plushies to give away. Very involved in the community, otherwise he’d be too lonely. Gives the fluffiest hugs.

Was once engaged and always dreamed of having a quiet life with a wife and kids. When he was drafted, he broke things off, remembering the time when his own father died in war, leaving his mother to raise him. Due to his gentle demeanor, he was deemed unfit to fight but his sewing skills proved useful in the medical tent, so he found himself busy as a nurse. When he returned, he reconnected with his girl but she had already found another. He wished her well and went his own way, to deal with the horrors he witnessed as a medic on his own.
