• (Lore) The only other ‘canon, designed’ character of Celery’s species is a fellow alien named Bethica. Although looking similar, they are not related, and simply share a similar ‘alien disguise’.
• (Lore) Calling a member of Celery’s species a “Zeebleton” is highly offensive.
• (Real life) The small patches and rectangles on Celery’s jacket don’t really mean anything in real life. In the lore, they are just symbols of alien spaceship-piloting status, and Celery bought the jacket at a thrift store on her planet, with the patches already there.
• (Real life) Celery was originally named Cookie, and was a more realistic brown cat with a purple collar, made for the purpose of being “me as a cat”. She has since evolved into her own character, who only semi-represents me.

• Celery wears a multicolored ribbon around her right ear.
• She wears thigh high boots, and no one knows if her pants underneath are shorts or leggings.
• Celery's jacket is slightly oversized, due to it not orginally belonging to her.
• Contrary to just about every drawing anyone else has ever done of Celery, she doesn’t actually have a big tuft of fluff on her head like “hair/bangs”. But you can still draw her this way, I don’t mind LOL (I’m assuming people draw her this way because that is what looks best in their style, and also the ref of her can be misleading; making it look as if her inner-ear fluff is on her head).

Celery is dramatic, very emotional, and easily distracted. Although these may seem like negative traits, Celery can also be very emotionally intelligent; good at reading people, and empathetic, too. However, she doesn’t like to use her emotional skills with people she thinks “don’t deserve it”, and will ignore them and pout if they aren’t her preferred type of person. (Funnily enough I’m kind of the opposite, I try to be empathetic towards everyone no matter how much I know or like them, and it’s exhausting)

Backstory

An alien from a far away planet, Celery was sent to this planet to study its inhabitants. However, due to her lazy and easily-distracted nature, she hasn’t had much success, and mostly just wanders the planet aimlessly and gets in peoples’ way.

People speculate that Celery’s appearance isn’t her true form. Because her original alien form might have been too different from the creatures of her current planet, she (and any other alien visiting this place) put together a disguise, consisting of a mash-up of the appearances of every species ‘here’.

Celery's "Other Version"

Celery also has a ‘non-lore version’, which I (CeleryCorndogCat) mostly just use in drawings as a stand-in for myself, to show my opinion on things. This version of her has a less detailed design + outfit, and doesn’t align with the above lore.
