There are stars walking among the everyday people on the street. Marvels with latent talent waiting for the right conditions to burst into an awe-inspiring display, an exhibition of the epitome of human beauty. Sasha is not one of those people. The definition of painfully mediocre, Sasha has no dreams or goals nor even any latent talent to assist in their retrieval if he had them. The only thing that matters to him is the well-being and happiness of the people around him. As far as he's concerned, Sasha doesn't exist in any capacity except as a tool to help his loved ones achieve their own dreams and goals. Such a selfless (and self-destructive) path should lead to nothing more than an unremarkable life with unremarkable achievements, all ending with an unremarkable gravestone.

Instead, Sasha's somehow wound up on the pairs figure skating world stage with a scandal brewing around every corner and the olympic dreams of his country resting on his very unremarkable shoulders. And he is not okay.
