Evergreen puts all of his effort into everything he does. He's always trying to prove himself and has a lot of energy to spend.

Evergreen is always looking for the truth. Given that his problems revolve around a mystery, his second parent, he doesn't like it when he can't see what's happening, literally and metaphorically.

Evergreen has grown used to being blamed or accused of things he did not do. Most of it is petty, but it's left him on high alert and spending a lot of time thinking of justifications for what he does.
About
Evergreen is the single child of Mint. His other parent, the one who sired him, is unknown.
New Hope requires that wolves get the blessing of the Divine to become mates with someone, and especially to have pups. Mint didn't do this. She's outwardly stated that she wanted a family, but didn't want to be forced into a relationship with someone... and that it wasn't right to make wolves get permission to have a mate or pups.
Mint's punishment was that she wasn't allowed to take time off from working like a regular wolf who had pups could. So, she rarely got time to rest and care for her pup, and was deemed as a bad mother (everyone casually ignored how unfair this was). Instead, he was primarily raised by Moss and Fen alongside their pup Songbird.
Having an unknown bio parent and a bio mother who went against the pack rules made other wolves see Evergreen as a troublemaker, someone to be wary of, as it's "in his blood". Most wolves automatically don't like him, and he has an uphill battle to get others to trust him. This has led to him resenting Mint.
He sees her actions as selfish and stupid. "The whole point of having a mate is to have pups. So why would you not want one if you want pups? Even if she believed what she's saying, she's made her own life and my life so much harder when she could've just followed the rules!"
Evergreen has made it his goal to find out who sired him. He wants to see if they're is a Fallen wolf or not... and if they aren't, why they and Mint didn't follow the rules. He wants others to see him for who he is, not his bio parents, and hopes that finding the truth will help.
Relationships
Mint [Biological Mother]
Evergreen resents his mother. He sees her as the reason for so many of his problems, doing it for no good reason. He's tried to ask her directly about who sired him, but she's always dodged the question. They don't interact much.
Fen [Father, Instructor]
Part of Mint's punishment for her actions was that she had to continue working like she would if she wasn't caring for a pup. So, Fen and his family took him in. They love him a lot and he loves them back. He is training under Fen, who is the guard of Thunder.
Moss [Mother]
Moss is the partner of Fen, and the one who nursed Evergreen as a pup. She was the one who suggested the name Evergreen when it was time to be given a name. She is the one Evergreen calls "mom", not Mint.
Songbird [Brother]
Songbird, or Song for short, is the pup Moss and Fen had the year Evergreen was born. While others push the idea that Evergreen should not be treated like his brother, he does anyway.
