- her Uncle Ben died from cancer & it really messed her up but she never really talks about it

- Her mother and her husband / Stella’s father divorced at a young age. Stella only found out about her mother’s death much later on when her father let it slip in passing conversation

- Deals with trauma by comedy but not as coping, she feels as if she is a burden on other people and as if she is relied on to be the “happy” one of the group. Therefor (in her eyes) she is not allowed to show her problems
