Wren is an aspiring detective working at his parents' private investigator's office as a filing clerk and executive assistant.

After his father was attacked and wounded on the job, Wren took over his position on the case of Gemini Firstborn, along with his best friend and assistant, Lula. He wants to prove himself so badly because his father has put a lot of faith in him, but he’s scared he’ll let them down. Wren was working hard to show that he could handle the pressure of Gemini's case, a simple one of locating her family, but after discovering a trove of evidence in his father's basement, there may be more to the mystery than any of them expected.
