Starving street artist from a indeterminant futuristic time. Demisexual/demiromantic and sapphic. Heavily food-motivated and would kill for a bowl of yakisoba, but is otherwise a total pacifist who would rather run from a problem than fight. She is an apprentice tatooist, and later, co-manages a small mom & pop grocery store owned by an elderly man with no remaining family.
Tanya is small, quick, and agile, which is reflected in her artist's nom de guerre "Fleetfoot." She is naive (though not innocent), but her childhood deprived her of many typical experiences, so her way of navigating the world as an adult is entirely her own. She is somewhat childlike in demeanor.
About
Early Life
Tanya's early life is largely a mystery, even to her; Tanya was abandoned at an orphanage as a very young child, where she stayed until she aged out. Attempts at fostering her always failed for one reason or another, ending with her either being returned to the orphanage or running away.
At some point, she fell in love with street art, and would spend the majority of her meager earnings on spray paint. She eventually became quite good, and her talent was noticed by a tattoo artist, who offered her an apprenticeship in exchange for a mural on his shop. She accepted, and to this day the shop displays her art, though frequent vandalism requires her to fix it.
Meeting Camille
She accidentally falls in with a notorious gun-for-hire after witnessing one of their hits. She initially escapes because of her dexterity and swiftness, but is quickly tracked down and confronted. They bargain, and Tanya swears not to tell in exchange for keeping her head, though the deal is sweetened when the monkey gives her a card with their address if she is ever in need of a hitman. Tanya takes them up on their offer within days after her tattoo artist mentor is yet again antagonized by a group of thugs, who regularly make off with his earnings in exchange for keeping an unspecified secret. Camille agrees to scare them off, but intends to cause them actual harm if they should persist.
When the hitman learns that Tanya hasn't eaten since the previous week, they offer her dinner, which Tanya eagerly accepts. Anything put in front of Tanya practically vanishes, and she admits that she doesn't have a consistent living situation, let alone regular meals. Her host graciously offers her a room, under the condition that Tanya doesn't stab them in their sleep. Tanya agrees, and is told the hitman's name: Camille.
Trivia
- Mostly uses public transportation to get around, usually climbs on top of the bus or tram and gets off before anyone notices.
- Really good at parkour; she learned to jump between buildings to evade cops, who aren't as fond of her murals as she is.
- Shares many qualities with Parker from Leverage.

While working on her latest masterpiece, Tanya mistakenly witnesses Camille's latest hit, and ends up chased. Camille tracks her down and makes her swear to keep her mouth shut, although she seems to like the witty fox and offers her a card with their address. Tanya seeks out her help a few days later, which Camille happily gives, and even offers her a room to stay in. The two room together and Camille helps Tanya get her life back in order. They eventually begin to fall for one another.
