Once a slave to human masters, she grew up with a bitter heart to humanity. After years of abuse boiled over, Mathilda stumbled across an old painting of a witch riding a broom stick. She became absolutely obsessed with the idea of flying freely and having magic to shape the world to be her ideal fantasy.

On a full moon, Mathilda discovered she could manipulate things to her favor. Brought under the large wings of her mentor, Daioh Kage the reanimator, she overthrew her old masters and shattered them into pieces she keeps around to this day. She believes that her powers are strongest with the full moon. She also believes she can harness the hatred and evil within others to create wicked monsters to dominate the land.

Her greatest passion in life is creating unholy abominations with her magic and attempting to make the best beasts to kill humans with. She has amassed a small mercenary band and gets a constant revenue stream from her allies to use her super soldiers.

Mathilda likes to keep everything as light hearted as she can due to her painful history. Her mansion is often referred to as a never ending party, from sunset to sunrise. She is often bored by mundane things and prefers to keep her mind busy and active by constantly switching from experiment to experiment. Her experiments tend to most of her responsibilities and she's allowed to do whatever she wants.

The mansion is full of many of her creations, ranging from as small as an insect to as large as the house itself. Mathilda is on a never ending quest to amass an army of the newly formed, otherworldly beings that inhabit the earth after the apocalypse. 

She seeks out other princess blood humans in hopes of gaining an ally and friend. Beatrice, the white princess, becomes her friend over time.
