He/Him | ~180 | 5’8” | DnD NPC | Darkling Elder

  • Card sharp, deeply sad (and not hiding it well), lover of art and fine things, Kind of an ass (affectionate), an escape artist who will survive at any cost, fiercely protective of his family, longs to live in the sun

An antagonist from my DnD campaign! Jithinji is the current head of his family and works tirelessly to find any way possible to revert the curse (sunlight rapidly ages, and ultimately kills them) placed on his bloodline lifetimes ago by the Summer Queen.

Colourful ropes bind the keystone of an archway to his waist. Jithinji’s made a deal to keep the stone safe; preventing the rebuilding of a gateway into the feywild. In return, he’s been promised help with his whole curse situation. But this task seems to have no end date, and Jithinji is growing impatient.

Jithinji has passed the time he’s spent guarding the stone by committing petty theft around town, slowly amassing an ever-growing collection of art objects and random knickknacks he finds appealing. The groups underground hideout has been garishly decorated with these items, as well as copious amounts of draped fabrics and rugs.

Used to wearing a mask all the time, Jithinji often has a very expressive face—he ends up giving away more then he intends to if he’s questioned without it on. But despite the facial journeys he’s going on, Jithinji’s voice stays very flat and unwavering.

Jithinji fights with his deck of cards, throwing or slashing at close range with them. Each suit deals different damage types and occasionally accidental magic effects. He keeps the ace of spades in his glove, keeping it hidden should he ever require it. Jith also keeps an extending metal staff in his boot. He frequently uses it to do acrobatic shit (parkour or extending it in a well to slow his fall).

Hes in the same campaign as Skógur (yet to be on toyhouse)! And spent some time as a hostage in the Onyx Huntsmen’s basement (ah, I do love my players <3). Reny is the brother of the lad hes working for.
