Profile
Aikawa Miyuki
陽だまりのように
"What's the point in living if I'm not me?"
A rising star and semi-famous idol, there's no one at school that doesn't know about Miyu. She makes up for what she lacks in academics with her charisma and energy, and is well-loved by all that meet her. She's only been an idol since the start of her second year of high school, but her popularity has skyrocketed due to her bright and versatile singing voice. Her acting skills are also a force to be reckoned with. Her company is small however, so she designs and makes all her dresses herself. Her lyricist is her fellow third year, Amaya (Rin), and her composer is Haruki.
Despite the rule that idols aren't supposed to date, she has a secret boyfriend - fellow third year, Ayumu, who has a reputation for being a bit of a thug. The sheer difference in their reputations, the two don't really get to hang out during school, but they're able to be together after school when both of them are out of their jobs. Prior to transitioning and becoming an idol, Miyu presented as shy and reserved, so the two of them were mostly able to hang out as an attractive but untouchable duo. Miyu isn't strictly part of the volunteer club, but she takes out requests for them from time to time, and gets along very well with the younger members - particularly with Kuyu who shares her chaotic energy.

Past
Growing up, Miyu excelled in every way, be it academics, sports, or arts. Naturally her parents, who were humble and kind people, were very proud of her achievements. She, however, always felt different from her peers. While her parents were keen for her to pursue an academic future, she was interested in the lights and the glamour of the music and fashion industry. She was in a performance club, and would often steal the spotlight with her sheer natural talent. While she no longer remembers it, she was also close friends with Riku, who was her junior by a year. He always looked up to her, but at the same time often felt inferior to her due to her talents. After sustaining a head injury in an accident, she began struggling with learning and memory retention, and decided to fully pursue a career in performance instead.
Present
She moved away from her snowy hometown in the first year of high school, where she met Ayumu. The two hit it off pretty immediately, being the new kid and the social outcast. They began dating soon after, and he accepted her easily when she decided to come out to him. She began wearing dresses and cuter clothing in her second year and was scouted as an idol. She currently lives in an apartment with her sister who is attending university in the same city, but often visits and stays over at Ayumu's house to help out with his younger siblings.
Future/Endings
Miyu has three possible endings. In the generally perceived canon ending, she makes it big as an idol for a while before retiring and starting up her own production company. She scouts a group of four idols, and guides them on their own paths to stardom. She and Ayumu break up for some time after high school, but are reunited at this point in time as well.
Beloved boyfriend and best friend - he brings a calm energy to her chaotic nature. He loved her when they first met, and continues to love her unconditionally even if they're broken up. While he has a thuggish appearance, Miyu knows he's nothing of the sort, and loves him for how kind he is to his younger siblings. She's grateful for his continuous support and encouragement, as he was the person who pushed her to take that first step to finding her true self.
Fellow third year and lyricist, Miyu approached Amaya after one of her poems won a city-wide competition and was read out to the school. While Amaya herself does not think her writing is worth any praise, Miyu continuously boosts her up and makes her feel like she's worth something. Amaya finds herself feeling things that she's never felt before when she's around Miyu, and is a little overprotective of her from things she perceives as a danger to her or her career.
A boy that she no longer remembers, but she can feel something nostalgic about his presence. She finds him polite and kind, if not a little bit superficial. Other than that, he appears to just be another cute junior in a club that she has grown fond of. She learns that he's from her hometown as well, and wonders if perhaps they've met before. She doesn't really look into it much further.
