You probably know that they're doing this so they could enjoy watching you fail hard but if you impress them enough, they might genuinely stick around as a friend and partner-in-crime.

To them, everything has a price, whether it's money or something else. There's always an equivalent exchange, and they firmly believe in this. One could say, they take pride in it just a little too much. They take opportunities like a kid grabbing candy from the candy store, to the point where they would claw someone's eyes out just to get it. And they will do it in STYLE! That being said, they could never break a promise or a deal no matter what. Their pride just wouldn't allow it, it was in their nature after all.

They love seeing someone squirm about it, to watch people fail miserably so they could point and laugh at them from afar. Of course, they would prefer if they're the one causing it via pampering them and let nature take its course! They don't particularly like fighting fairly either and would use dirty tactics if they could help it and if its to their benefit (in some cases, to their client's benefit). This causes problems whenever they ask to pick a side; only choosing the side wherein they could survive the best and get more profit. Simple as that. Besides, wrong them once? They can let it slide. Twice? They'll make sure you'll never see the light of day.

Backstory

Most of Chihiro's life is shrouded in mystery, and it's easy to see why judging from the way they speak and they're thought process goes; to be at the top of the food chain. Most people could chalk it up to just them being hypercompetitive, which they are! They were born and raised to be hypercompetent with just about anything, but the way they go about it is different. They would give comfort and security to these kinds of people, get them to lower their guard and let these idiots spill their secrets to them, and strike them down. That's how they were taught, to survive in such a harsh world where the rich thrive and the poor suffer. But they don't care, as long as they can get what he wants and needs, and laugh at the idiocy of humanity. This was their mindset, cruel as it may be. But since he was in a school setting, all they could do was play teacher's pet and suck up to the popular folks in school which was rather boring for them but what can he do? Their parents said this was some sort of training ground for them to learn how the hierarchy works. This was all to take over their business and that was it really.

The problem is that Chihiro has zero interest in that. Even if they protested, his parents wouldn't budge, which frustrates them even more. So he started acting out, rebellion would be an understatement. They caused trouble in their school, so much so that they had to pull them out of it and transfer to another school with the same idea in mind. And so they did it again and he was plucked out of it. The same faces, same results each time they hack and slash their way into the social ladder. It became too boring for them to the point where they escaped into the night to get away from everyone. That's where they met a strange creature who calls himself Kyubey; a magical familiar who grants wishes. Like a little deity like in the folklores they had read a few times in the school library. But.. This also means there's some form of equivalent exchange; they have to be a magical child and fight witches in order to protect ordinary civilians. At first, Chihiro wasn't convinced about that. While that made some sense, there weren't many benefits to it. They told the creature that they'll consider it and get back to them.

However, Chihiro came to a realization that perhaps that might not be too bad. The concept of gaining the trust of the masses, even if they do it anonymously, was a decently sweet deal. To gain trust meant gaining power over the public which means gaining control over them, they could only smirk with interest at that idea. But they should probably choose their words carefully because like a negotiation, they must be specific with their wish. They already have money, some influence- SOME influence… That's it! More influence! More power! More trust! But they needed to be careful with choosing their words with this one. This is a once-in-a-lifetime deal! If they just have the thing in mind for their wish, then they could get whatever they want with little to no problem! And so, Chihiro went off to find Kyubey again, finally deciding on what they specifically want; to subtly control people. The incubator asked one more time, perhaps to make sure that Chihiro was sure of it. And they were confidently sure! And so.. They became a magical child, and they LOVED it.

Unfortunately, when they were trying to recruit magis to be in his little gang, their parents announced that they’ll be moving to America. Where? In Seaford, Oregon! Alright, maybe not unfortunately. They DID overhear that the family wanted to expand their business. But for them, it’s a new concrete jungle, new toys to play with. And so, they willingly got whisked away to America with Kyubey wrapped comfortably on their shoulders. They did wonder what sort of magis they would meet, though. After all, from the looks of it, it seems like most countries have magis. This shouldn’t be any different, right?

  • Amaterasu's Talismans - Said to be blessed by the Sun Goddess in Japanese Mythology, these talismans are used to conjure up multiple spells only Chihiro can cast.

• LOVES shopping! From shopping in high-end boutiques to thrift shopping, it's all so genuinely fun for him! Even better if it's with other people.
• They will judge people for judging them about their fashion taste and other things. Excuse them for liking all things pink, and looking cute while they commit arson. That's their issue, not theirs~!
• LOVES all things science and magic, so fitting in with being a magi came natural to them. They have a habit of being a little too nosy about it, but it's all with well-meaning intentions. Right..?
• The family business is a chain of hotels and restaurants. Or at least, that's what Chihiro claims to be. It's actually true but.. Is there more to that perhaps?
• They're capable of forming genuine connections, they just.. Don't know how to do it like a normal kid would do.
• The fox ears and tail in their magi form are just accessories. But please don't yank their tail off!
