- Human name “Amun Makalani”
- Buccaneer. Former Krokotopian gladiator before joining the Elite Court
- Has a very strong belief in honor and truth.
Emotionally honest too. Doesn’t hide his emotions.
Doesn’t get along with Bishop well. He thinks Bishop doesn’t deserve the right to be as egotistical as he is.
Finds the armor and mask he dons as Rooke too be too cumbersome and oppressive, prefers to fight in lighter clothes that let him move and breathe.
Finds the stiff ‘properness’ and deceit within the Armada to be suffocating as well.
Kane's elusive goals that he's never straightforward about, Deacon's spymastership, Bishop doing god knows what all perched in his shaded wizard tower. There's no freedom for anybody to be themselves, they're all shoved into the harsh metal molds that Kane sets out for them.
