Additional  Notes: Songbird's sibling is Bluebird. The two are commonly found with each other. With Bluebird typically taking on a protective role, while Songbird takes over making sure they both eat and are well mentally. Together, they are an excellent team. They are entirely self sufficient. Although not very notable, they both have a bit of a relationship with Hokma. An apparent friendship not well seen with other sephirah

Songbird is also showing signs of corrosion. A tar-like substance drips from their eyes whenever their eyes are open. Causing them to opt for keeping them close.

-----------------------------

Songbird and his sister Bluebird are two birds of a feather. They come from a rather tragic story, then again all is tragic in the city. They used to belong to a nest, but were evicted upon an accident involving their parents. The two were orphaned in the backstreets, and figured out a way to survive. Eventually they were able to score a spot to belong to a wing again. Joining Lobotomy Corporation's main branch together. Bluebird did this so that they would have somewhere safer than the backstreets. She brought Songbird along because she didn't trust the backstreets to let her brother survive on his own. They were safer together.

Hokma was close to both of the birds, giving them their nicknames "Bluebird" and "Songbird." Back in Lobotomy Corporation, Hokma was rather torn up about being killed and added to the script by the person he looked up to. Continuing to obsess about specifics and figuring out how to protect his friend. That was, until the birds showed up. Both of them were able to help Hokma through his spiral, leading to a much better state of mind.
Every loop, they would end up in Hokma's department. Time and time again. Eventually Bluebird figured out the loops, and begun obsessing herself about finding a way out of the facility. Hokma helped them, secretly giving them information when Angela wasn't watching. He knew Angela's blind spots.

Songbird watched them both work, planning day after day, night after night. He constantly worried over their physical health, getting food and bringing it back so at least his sister could eat. He would be the one to drag them both out of the work and relax. Songbird was always the one who worried when they didn't have worries. He never quite grasped the gravity of the situation. But he accepted his role as the one to ground Bluebird to reality. To bring her back when she herself spiraled about how many loops there had been already.

In some ways. They became a family. Hokma being the new father figure in their lives. With Hokma being able to properly care for a child, adopted or not. To make up for his sin of abandoning Angela when she needed him. It'd come back to bite him eventually. But for those days, it was enough.

Eventually, the light was fully culminated. Songbird and Bluebird excitedly exchanged dreams about what they'd do when they got out.
Then all hell broke loose.
A doomsday like no other.
All Abnormalities escaped, all at once. With no ability to contain them anymore they rain free.
But that wasn't the worst part, no. The worst part was that damned bird showing up.
Apocalypse bird.
Songbird and Bluebird did their best to join the fray, holding off abnormalities and protecting the wounded in welfare, rushing from department to department to try and help out. That was, until the worst happened.
Bluebird was busy fighting another abnormality, Songbird trying to get rid of one of the many eggs the hallway over.
Then it came.
All too sudden, Songbird didn't have any time to run.
It all went black in seconds.

Bluebird went berserk at this sight, manifesting and causing a commotion with the amount of wind she was able to whip up. Her EGO was imperfect, threatening to consume her with the overwhelming grief and rage.
She'd slay apocalypse bird. Then escape the facility. Taking some of the light with her.
Songbird had made her promise to take any opportunity she found to get out of here.
Even if it meant leaving him behind
Even if it meant he was dead.
She had to.
As his consciousness faded, he smiled. knowing she'd make it out.
She'd live for the both of them.

SPOILERS FOR LIBRARY OF RUINA HERE

Although, they were split up. Bluebird continued living. Craving out a small place among the other poor souls. Vowing to seek revenge on Angela.
Songbird, on the other hand, awoken as the first Librarian on Hokma's floor. The welcome was not loud, nor was it grand. Rather... It was quiet. Only the ticking from the clocks above them Songbird never expected to come back.
It took Songbird a couple minutes to be explained the history of what had happened. Songbird took it well, stating that he would do everything he could to make sure they would succeed. Though they both had no idea if Bluebird were still out there, Hokma took kindly to Songbird trailing behind him.
It was apparent that Hokma wasn't very happy about Ayin's work being ruined. But Songbird made sure to make it better. Making all sorts of silly games for the two to play in the comforts of religion.

I should note, with Songbird there Hokma calms down about alot of the Ayin stuff. He's still serious, but he is more likeable and easygoing.
Songbird ends up helping Hokma get along with the other Patron Librarians. Being a major social butterfly among the other librarians and patron librarians alike. He even tries to become friends with Binah (And succeeds). The only one songbird tends to avoid is Roland, only because he has no idea what to think about him. Hokma also said Roland really didn't like him, which adds further to Songbird avoiding him.

News about Bluebird was vague, if anything. There were a few bits and pieces. One unique individual who might've had some history was Yan. Though all he did was say her name, and that was enough to make Hokma and Songbird both hopeful. Songbird even took on Yan's page, in a way of reminding himself about that hope.

It wasn't until the Ensemble was on their doorstep, that they found out more. While fighting, Pluto mentioned something about a winged individual trying to talk Argalia out of invading the library. While Argalia argued back that they had both lost things to Angela. Even moreso with the loss of Yan.

After the fight was over, the two rushed to Roland's floor. Where Roland and Argalia were fighting tooth and nail to overcome the other.

None of it mattered. Before Hokma could stop him, Songbird ran forward. Shouting for Argalia to check up on his sister. Argalia all too suddenly was snapped out of it, hearing the words Bluebird must've shocked him, because it was enough for Roland to get a good hit on Argalia. Then turn back to yell at Hokma and Songbird to get out of the way. Songbird stood between Argalia and Roland, fury in his eyes for once.

"He's the only one who can protect my sister now. If you want to kill him, you'll have to kill me too."

Normally, nobody would stop this fight between Argalia and Roland. It was a Culmination of all that happened between the two of them. It was none of their business. But with Bluebird out there. It was Songbird's business. Argalia tried to speak up, but Songbird yelled at him to run.

Argalia hesitated, then turned and launched himself.

Roland, filled with rage, fought Songbird. It wasn't hard for him to win. In fact, the battle was over in mere moments.

When Songbird next awoke, they were in the outskirts.
With no news on anything.
Songbird made things up with Roland eventually, but in his heart he held out hope for Bluebird to eventually make it out to the outskirts.
