Zander is a possum toon who is a leader of The Shadows, a group trying to take down the influential toons of Inkwell City, and part of the villain class within the city. Zander formed The Shadows on the bases that the leader of Inkwell City were wronging the villain class of the city, with the other leaders oppressing them and the villain leader being weak in the face of adversity, and they were seeking to destroy the established norm to create a system of one leader and no classes in a violent manor.

Personality

Zander is a sly toon that is a master of manipulation to get others to see his side as the side of a victim. He also suffers from lapses of insane overconfidence, where he doesn't think before he acts or speaks in a way that shows his true colors, and this even leads to his downfall at the hands of Winnona.

Background

Growing up, Zander never understood why he and his family was treated poorly and looked down upon by members of the other classes, and began to grow cynical over the divides the city seemed to cling to. When a middle class toon physically lashed out at Zander, he would fight back and commonly get in trouble for it, which caused his resentment to grow even more. He finally broke away from his family and gathered the group that would become The Shadows, toons that felt the same about how the leaders of the classes handle conflict poorly, and they made Zander their leader.
