Praed is the main character of Doomsilver. He woke up from his 200 year slumber by some strangers-to-be-friends. He has a huge block in his memory and needs help getting it back. The story follows him and the Arthas crew on their journey to regain his memories, and all the mishaps along the way.

Appearance

Current

He has long, spiky hair that reaches his calves. It's coloured a silver at the top, with white at his roots, and a dark cyan as his tips and under-part of his hair. His bangs are swooped to the left side of his face, and goes all around his head. He has sharp eyes that are double lidded with deep eye-bags under them; They are red in colour, with red eyeliner framing the bottom corners of his eyes. He has a beauty mark on the left side of his chin. His most prominent facial features are his eyebrows, thick and shaped sort of like a lightening bolt. 

The bottom half of his face he has cybernetic enhancements that enhance his sight and hearing. If messed with, his vision and hearing can go dark. The mouth covering is black, it connects to the side pieces that are red with black and silver stripes at the bottom. Connected to that are the ear pieces, a white bar connects them to the "ear" that has a red outer cover, with the inside being black. That leads into the head piece thats embedded into his skin located on the sides of his head; it does NOT wrap all the way around, it's only on the sides.

His skin is part of his technology; it is able to change colour and texture, so he could actually change his skin into "clothing". His default is a black "skinsuit" that has red, white, and silver accents. The legs go from black, to a red stripe wrapping around them. 

Adding to that, for his usual outfit he wears a white, silver, and red armored chest piece with a black vest on top of it. His shoulders are white, with red and silver accents that lead into a completely black arm, then his hands always stay the same; red stripe on his wrist, white fingers, red claws that connect to his palm pads. The torso pattern is a bit different from his usual; white primarily, with red and silver stripes that lead into the red leg stripes. He wears armored knee pads that are primarily white, with red and silver accents. The rest of his legs are black, having red padded ankles connected to an actual set of black boots with a silver stripe on the toe.

Personality

Praed is a very tall and intimidating person, at least visually. In reality, his personality is... also kind of like that. He is prone to mood swings and outbursts, he easily gets irritated. He tends to have a stoic expression that hardly changes for the most part (not to say it doesn't change at all). 

He is very curious and nosy; he is not required to eat food so when he tried food for the first time, he fell in love with it; he was also programmed to know everything about Earth and what was known of the cosmos at the time of his creation, so he's very curious and inquisitive. 

After being with Arthas for a while, a sort of "gap-moe" has been spotted in his behaviour, especially when Jiae is involved. Because of his intimidating appearance, it causes a major reaction from others when he does something cute (which is semi-often).

He is not afraid to ask questions, even when the time is not right. He has a hard time discerning emotions, be it his own or others. He also has a hard time experiencing empathy; he certainly has compassion and the capability of sympathy, but empathy seems to be null.

Abilities

• He has the ability to sprout blades from just about anywhere on his body
  • This is at the cost of a lot of pain and blood loss
• He has enhanced vision and hearing due to the cybernetic attachments on his head
  • If messed with, his vision and hearing can go dark, so try not to touch them unless you know what you’re doing!
• Regenerative abilities
  • His regeneration is usually quick depending on the wound
  • RE; Blades: The blades sprouted from him heal like normal wounds with normal healing cycles due to how much they strain his body
• He is able to house beings within his head
  • This ability is known as mindscape, he uses it to house the Hiddens (Gods).
  • The mindscape can be shaped to look however he wants, but it takes time to construct.
  • This is fantasy DID basically lol
• His body is extremely malleable. He’s able to change his flesh and weight distribution altogether, which alters his height and body type. He can use this to get into tight spaces that would usually only be able to fit someone of Zhurong and Fang’s size.

  
  

  Equipment

  He doesn't usually carry any weapons on him due to him being the weapon. He wears a belt across his hips with pouches that carry metal in them among other things (the metal is for eating).

  Design Notes

  • His main colour scheme will always be black, white, silver, and red. 
    • Some colours can be added or removed if they fit the others.
  • He has a beauty mark on the left side of his chin.
  • If he is not wearing the clothing in his ref, he is usually only wearing his "skin".
  • The greenish part of his hair is supposed to represent silver.
  • He is identical to his siblings Asset and Prime, and obviously their genetic template, Seokga.
  • The red eyeliner under his eyes is part of his skin and cannot be removed.
  • Both of his hands pigments are unable to be changed; they are a black gradient that blend into his natural skin tone, with the red stripe on his wrists, white fingers, and red claws that connect to his palm pads.

  Trivia:

  • Praed's name means "bondsman", it comes from the words predial and praedium.
    • It typically means "one who's responsible for the debt of another", usually in the context of land.
  • He is a clone of Seokga, the Trickster Hidden.
  • He doesn’t like using weapons, he much prefers to use brute force.
    • (IE: His own body)
  • He has Dissociative Identity Disorder
    • He has both proper DID and fantasy DID
      • He has 2 prominent "alters", one being an introject of his dead biological father/mentor, and one kind of being a younger version of him akin to a sleeper agent.
    • RE; Fantasy DID: The fantasy DID are not actual symptoms of DID, but the experiences while inside his head are taken from the experiences of myself.
      • I think real DID paired with fantasy DID is fun and cool
  • Praed’s skin is part of his technology, his skin being able to change texture and colours. His default “outfit” is his black red and white skinsuit.
    • The only parts of his body that can’t change into normal human skin are his hands. They are black with white fingers and red claws that connect to the protective pads on his fingers and palms, a thick red stripe across both wrists.
  • The “mask” on his face can change from fully covering his lower face, to uncovering his mouth area
    • The black mouth covering gets slid into the sides of the red bits on his cheeks
