Agnes de Croy (MothWeb)

Her home-Earth is Earth-2211G. Born on 24th of Jenuary. Ethnicity: half Latino, half Slavic. Works as a librarian.

General

Agnes was born in France. Her parents got divorced when she was only two years old, and she moved to Yorktown with her mom. Yorktown's Agnes's mother's hometown. Agnes never met her dad, but she treated her stepfather like a biological one. He and her mom got married at Agnes's 4th year of age. They were a happy family, excluding the divorce part. Girls' early life was really perfect, well at least most people would say that. She really considered it a happy one.
In high school and in college she was (well, in college is) ignored by people. At first, she was just hiding in her own shell, but after a few months of high school she didn't have to try to be alone. People started ignoring her and ghosting her, even on class group chat. When Agnes started her college, people were ignoring her too. She really didn't know why exactly, here she even didn't do a thing.

How she got powers

(She was in senior grade of highschool) One time, Agnes was chilling in a quiet part of Yorktown, when she felt something on her leg. She was casually listening to her music when she spotted that she had a spider on her calf. It was probably an exotic spider, because it was colorful, it was purple with really hued golden joints.
It suddenly bit her, which hurt really bad. She shook her leg and it ran away.
After a few hours of just chilling there, she went back to her home like nothing just happened. Well, she really thought it was nothing.
It was late, so she went to bed to get some rest. As she woke up the next morning, she felt different. Her hands got sticky all of the sudden and her vision became clearer. More time passed, more intense her powers became and more powers she discovered (like the regular spiderman powers). After exactly six months, she discovered she is also able to manipulate the magnetic field. Something around 1 year after the spider bite, she started randomly camouflaging to the surroundings. After some time, she could use this power normally.
Understanding her regular powers and being to use them casually took Agnes a few brief months. Though, in the end it turned out that she's quite good at using them. She regularly saves people from villains and antiheroes in Yorktown.

Cannon events

Agnes had a really great best friend in highschool. She was the only person Agnes wasn't ignored by in school. Her name was Patricia. Agnes also had a little crush on her. One time, just 7 months after Agnes got her powers, she had to fight with another villain. When the villain was deadly laying under the walls of rubble, Agnes took off its mask. She saw the face of her best friend and first serious crush- Patricia. That was the cause of why Agnes hid in her own shell even more. After that situation, she kept her distance from people (excluding her family) [also that's when Agnes got her eyebrow scar].
(Happened when Agnes was 18y.o.) When she was saving the city again, she had to choose: save her stepdad, or entire Yorktown. She obviously had chosen the second option. She was watching her stepfather die In Front of her. She still feels guilty for that, even though she knew she made the better choice. It happened when she was in the middle of second year of college. It really showed her how cruel the world is, it felt to her like losing an actual biological father. She was devastated and watching her mom be miserable because of it hurt Agnes even more.
As more time has passed and more villains she has fought, something strange happened. A strange villain appeared, he looked like not from this world. It was confusing, but Agnes tried to fight it off. While fighting him, there appeared some other Spidermans. Agnes didn't know what exactly was happening, but one of the Spidermans after capturing the villain asked her if she would want to join their organization. Its name was Spider Society. As she got to their place, others explained what was happening and why, also what cannon events were, because it was essential to know while working for that organization. After some time she was getting better and better at fighting anomalies.
