Handpicked by his predecessor to be clan warlock, Icarus is a healer of his clan, trained in the usage of herbs, magic, and recieving visions. But now, tired of the leadership of his clan and their pushing of his role into obscurity, he is hungry for the power of clan leader - power enough to destroy tradition and replace it with what he thinks is best for his people.Likes

Summary
“Look closer at the forest,” His mentor told him a long time ago at a plateau overseeing the cliffside. “You know how everything is connected. Don’t search for more in hubris; instead, let it come to you.”
Icarus had swallowed back his pride and nodded. For loyalty, of course. But as seasons passed and mentors fell with new ones in their place much like the leaves he'd observe; he would never lie to himself in acknowledging the feeling that gnawed at the centre of his stomach; the need for something more.
Icarus is a healer among his clan, a seer destined to guide them around the dangers the future poses. And though he entered it with eagerness and pride; he has been slowly turned from a satisfaction with solitude to a hunger for action, no matter what it takes. Time has always been ticking down to the point he can break free from his bird’s nest and, with the acknowledgement of his clanmates, move from tradition to better things.
A shaman could never be a warrior, of course, but little do they know their wits could always outmatch a warrior’s strength.

Trivia
• Icarus' role as a clan warlock is similar to that of a medicine cat from the warriors series - he is destined not to be in power. Unlike medicine cats however, clan warlocks undergo dangerous tests, and they can also use magic.
• He was handpicked to be a shaman, had to go through trials to prove himself worthy. he was trained by his mentor, and his mentor by the mentor before him. His mentor has now passed on however, and he serves as the only shaman (and in the future will have to train an apprentice.)
• Is generally always secretly plotting how to overthrow the leader.
• He is a shapeshifter, due to his warlock training.
• Gets bored easily. Is also fairly snarky towards his patients, because he's bitter over not being able to change things in his clan in his position.
