Azhar is your best friend's bestest friend. Which is to say, he's basically your best friend by extension. You can come to him for anything, anywhere, at any time, and he'll always be willing to lend an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or a helping hand (or two!). Whatever the situation may be, Azhar's here to make it better- or he's at least gonna try his damned best. Two heads are always better than one, after all! There's rarely a time where getting Azhar involved won't make the situation more bearable than it already is, and he likes the company anyways, so why not give him a call?

Azhar is a people pleaser first and foremost. He believes his job in any given situation is to make everyone as happy as possible, because if they're smiling, then he's smiling. As long as he can help increase the harmony in a room, then he's doing a good job. It takes him little to no effort to make small sacrifices on his end in order to see someone else's mood increase far more, so he has no qualms doing favors for his friends- or even strangers! Azhar's dedicated himself to a lifelong mission to try and make the world a better place than what it was when he came into it, and he'll keep at it until there's no one left to help.

Azhar could best be described as a ray of sunshine: Warm, welcoming, and bright. He's almost always smiling, even when things don't always go his way, and he seems to have some untouchable aura around him where everything is alright; no crises, complaints, or crying (okay, you can cry a little bit if you need to get it out). He's excellent at reading people and always seems to know what they need to get them out of whatever funk they're feeling. Azhar belives that the best thing you can do with your time is to help other people with it, and he loves seeing his positive impact in others. He thinks that with a little bit of work and sacrifice, that he can leave the world a better place than he found it.

Swordfighting

Azhar is a trained fighter in multiple different blade styles. Though he doesn't carry a sword around with him everywhere he goes (like a crazy person), his training and athleticism can help him out in a pinch.

Empathy

While Azhar can't actually feel others' emotions, he's a damn good listener and knows how to put himself into others' shoes. He's usually the go-to person for this friends whenever there's conflict.

Bedazzlement

Given enough time, Azhar can make anything obscenely glittery just by coming into contact with it. He doesn't usually mind being covered in glitter himself, but knows how annoying it can be to others.

Green Thumb

Azhar has an excellent ability to make living things thrive under his care. His home is absolutely covered in plants and clippings that he takes great care of; he even calls his plants 'his children'.

Azhar barely remembers his early life, but thinks that that's probably for the best. From what he does remember, it wasn't pretty. Days of being ignored by missing parentals followed by nights filled with screaming arguments that never made anything better- he'd rather leave the past in the past. He doesn't exactly remember how he got out of his horrible situation; probably some 'favor' being cashed in by a family member proceeded by one or both of his parents taking off- from what he's heard, that seems to be about accurate. Azhar learned the meaning of 'it takes a village' very quickly once he was out of his parents' home; The rest of his family stepped up to take care of him, and he would often spend his weeks bounced between various family members' houses depending on who was free to watch him that day.

As he got older and stronger, Azhar started helping out himself around the houses of his family; it was small things at first, helping with the faucets or holding a nail in place, but over time Azhar was able to pick up on the trades that he was slowly being taught. With more experience, favors turned into jobs, real work that was fulfilling and wonderful, and Azhar became a fairly well-respected craftsman. From rough beginnings and abandonment, he had grown into a well-adjusted gentleman who served his community.

Struggle

Nothing lasts forever, unfortunately. Even by the time that Azhar was first handed off to his family, their community was already drying up, becoming a ghost town. Work opportunities were few, and although his family loved to have him there with him, Azhar knew that he couldn't stay with them forever. So he left for the cities, or at least closer to them, where he found so many people who seemed so miserable in life despite all the resources and opportunities around them. Azhar once again felt the need to help those around him arise and doubled his resolve to make the world a better place than his predecessors had shaped it; if no one else would try, he would.

Current Life

Nowadays Azhar mostly works as a contractor doing minor construction work in the suburbs around the city (think adding treehouses to people's trees or similar). He's glad that he gets to work at making people happy with his hands, and getting to do something new every job has its perks, too. He doesn't think he'll get sick of his job for a hot moment. In his spare time, he's almost always hanging out with some group of friends or another in some social context- the man can PARTY if the need arises. What can he say; the people love him and he's in high demand!

Azhar's taking life one day at a time. He's not particularly in a rush to do anything; life has its mysterious yet unrelenting ways and he's sure that he'll be in the right place at the right time for whatever destiny has in store. For now, he'll keep going along, doing what he loves best and trying to make the world better for it.
